What is so bad about Doki Doki literature club?
The reason Doki Doki Literature club is scary is because of the story behind it and all the hidden secrets. So DDLC takes the normal Dating Sim formula and adds some twists to it. At the end of the first act the player character’s best friend Sayori hangs herself.

Why is sayori depressed?
Sayori mentioned that she had suffered from depression for her whole life. In her case it probably just developed over time, since worrying about college isn’t really enough to just ‘give’ you depression. Even in the game, Sayori says she’s been dealing with this her whole life.)
Does Yuri die?
Death. Yuri killed by his former friend Makarov with a Desert Eagle. Despite the end of the war, Yuri accompanied Price in the Arabian Peninsula after having successfully tracked Makarov down in the Hotel Oasis. Yuri got impaled by a piece of debris when a helicopter obliterated a part of the hotel.
Why does Yuri kill herself?
She is ultimately unable to control her obsessive outbursts. It reaches a point where, after she confesses her love to the protagonist, she stabs herself to death out of over-excitement or rejection (depending on the protagonist’s response to her confession, both lead to the same outcome, courtesy of Monika).
