Four Haiku

The low winter sun
casts black shadows on the snow.
One brown leaf hangs on.

Spring melt water cold
trickles between black rocks.
Robin's eggs are blue.

A full tree's shadow
where cows flick their tails at flies.
Bees search the clover.

First fall of leaf seen
red and brown below the tree.
One goose overhead.
